LcmMapedit is the freeware program for making Lowrance map files. LcmMapedit is a modified version of GPSMapedit but with the lcm Lowrance file type authoring added. It produces the lcm file ready for uploading, so the Garmin requirement of final conversion into an img file is not necessary. My xbox360 Indiana Jones games wrongly tells me "You do not have an active gamer profile" when I try to load my saved game. To work around this I had to have only the wireless controller connected and disconnect the second controller until the saved game is loaded.
